Agricultural Bank Of China Continues Private Banking Push By Adopting Avaloq In Hong Kong

The has adopted the Avaloq Banking Suite for its Hong Kong office to support the launch of its private banking business locally. The bank is Avaloq's first Chinese customer, said the banking solutions provider in a statement. Avaloq has been present in the Asia-Pacific region since 2007, when its regional headquarters opened in Singapore. The firm already serves 14 clients in the region, including DBS, Nomura, Barclays and Coutts. Agricultural Bank of China is operating Avaloq's "Model Bank Asia," which includes a series of local features including payment advice and bank statements in the Chinese language. AB China's main headquarters is in Shanghai, where it already offers private banking and wealth management services in 14 provinces and municipalities.
